Isabella served as an arts and culture editor at the CU Independent, CU Boulder’s award-winning student newspaper, for four years during her undergraduate studies.

During her tenure as managing editor in 2022-2023, the CUI received the Society of Professional Journalist’s regional Mark of Excellence Award for the Best Independent Online Student Publication. Her writing has also been published in the Guitar Foundation of America’s Soundboard Magazine and the Boulder-based classical music blog Sharps & Flatirons.
